How the Dental Program Works
Select Advantage is not a dental insurance program; rather SDP benefits are provided upon presentation of the membership card to a participating network provider.
Signature Dental offers great savings for over 170 dental procedures including routine care. As a benefit every member is entitled to a free exam and x-ray
yearly from thousands of general dentists in the network. Specialists such as orthodontists, oral surgeons, endodontists, and periodontists are also included. These
specialists provide reduced fee schedules for many dental procedures.
All SDP dental providers simply adjust their charges based on a pre-negotiated fixed schedule per state. Check out your dental fee
schedule before you
even visit the dentist. Also unlike dental insurance there is no waiting period, preconditions, deductibles, co-pays or long-term contracts. Signature Dental plan
members simply present their membership card to receive the reduced rate. The member pays the scheduled fixed fee directly to the provider at the time the service is
performed. All network providers are carefully screened to ensure they meet the standards for license, state certification, professional and safety procedures.
